There are two ways to update your product list in Dealavo:
Manual update
You can send your prepared product list in an XLSX or CSV file via email to your dedicated account manager or to support@dealavo.com.
Automatic update
If you provide us with your product list via a permanent link to a .xml or .csv file, any changes you make in that file will be updated automatically (by default, once per day).
All offer updates are based on the data in the file. New products and their matched offers will only appear in the system after the next offer update.
Where can I find my previously uploaded product file?
To check the latest product file stored in the Dealavo system, go to the Files tab → uploaded_files.
Error file
The error file contains information about any issues detected in your product file.
Types of errors:
1. Duplicate product ID – The ID is the internal product code used in our database. It must be UNIQUE for every product in the file. You can use, for example, the EAN code or the manufacturer’s code as the ID. If at least two products have the same ID, please update them so that each product has a unique ID.
2. Duplicate product name – Please check that the product names are correct and that the same product has not been included more than once.
3. Duplicate EAN – Please verify that the EAN codes are correct and that the same product hasn’t been duplicated in the file.
4. Missing product ID – If a product in the file has no assigned ID, it will not be displayed in the application. Please add the missing ID.
5. Missing product price – The file contains a product without a price. For eshop accounts, this may cause the product to be invisible in the application. Please add the price.
6. Incorrect price format – The file contains a product with an invalid price format. For eshop accounts, this may also cause the product to be hidden in the application. Please provide the price in the correct format.
7. Missing product name – The file contains a product without a name. Please add the name for the specified product.
8. File format error – In case of such an error, contact your dedicated account manager or email support@dealavo.com.
9. Too many products – The number of products in the file exceeds the contracted limit. Please reduce the number of products to match your subscription.
