Preparing the list of monitored products

Modified on Fri, 27 Jun at 10:49 AM

The first step in preparing or updating your list of monitored products is to gather product data.

Keep in mind that searching marketplaces and comparison websites in Dealavo is done automatically using EAN codes.

For Google Shopping monitoring, it's important to provide us with direct product links from your website in your product feed, and send your Google Merchant ID to your dedicated account manager or to support@dealavo.com.

Required attributes:

  1. Product name
  2. EAN code
  3. Product price

Optional attributes:

  • Manufacturer or brand
  • Shipping cost
  • Product URL on your website
  • Product group or category
  • Product capacity
  • Product size
  • Product color

Providing optional attributes can significantly improve the quality of data in your account.

Attributes for the Dynamic Pricing module:

  • Minimum price
  • Maximum price
  • List price (MSRP)
  • Purchase price

Providing these attributes is essential to fully benefit from the Dynamic Pricing module.

You can also include your own custom data in the feed. These will be displayed in the application under the "Custom 1" column. The content of this column can also be included in your historical reports. Both options are available to help you make the most out of the data in both the application and reporting.

Once the file is ready, your product data – in the agreed format – should be sent or shared with Dealavo to enable monitoring, data collection, and processing for your selected products.

Updating an .xlsx file

You can send your prepared product data in an .xlsx file directly via email.

Updating an .xml or .csv file

A permanent link to a .xml or .csv file (this can also be a Google Sheets file shared as a CSV) should be sent via email to your dedicated account manager or to support@dealavo.com.

You manage the content of the feed file – it should include all the required product data, as it serves as the basis for offer updates. New products and their matched offers will only appear in the system after the next update.

If you're unsure how to create a product feed, feel free to reach out to your dedicated account manager or contact us at support@dealavo.com – we're happy to help :)
