Retailers tab for brands

Modified on Wed, 9 Jul at 11:56 AM

The Retailers tab shows product data visible in the Products tab by particular retailers. Here you can check the data for each retailer, such as the number of monitored products in their offer, the number of products sold above/below the recommended price, and the total number of individual alerts.

You select the Retailers tab from the menu at the very top of the app:

Basic tab view

In the upper left corner (1) you will find information on how many retailers meet the current filtering criteria, assuming they offer at least one of the SKUs you are monitoring.

The displayed value changes each time you apply the filters.

In the retailer's table (2), the following columns show information about:

  • competitors names,
  • alerts for products offered by specific retailers,
  • the sources of monitoring products from which the offers of a particular retailer originate,
  • number of common products i.e. monitored products offered by specific retailers on defined monitoring sources,
  • the number of monitored products offered by specific retailers at a price equal to your price,
  • the number of monitored products offered by specific retailers that you sell at a higher price,
  • the number of monitored products offered by specific vendors that you sell cheaper,
  • merged data from the columns relating to price offers in the form of a graph, with color coding, where green corresponds to cheaper offers, blue - to the price equal to our price, and red - to more expensive offers.

All the information in the retailer's table has filters, narrowing the criteria.

For example, if you click on the alert icon, you will see a list of products corresponding to that alert (Significant price reductions) for a particular seller.

Note: If you select more than one alert, the application shows records that contain results for all selected alerts.

In contrast, selecting the name or price fields expands our filter range of ascending/decreasing offers. We can accept each filter with the Apply changes button or return to the Default filters.

In the Adjust displayed column field (3), you can select "✓" the columns you want to display in the retailer's table (2) or deselect the ones you don't want to display.

Next to it is an icon that allows us to download the current view in XLS format.

Any filter you set up will be visible above the columns. It will be easy to monitor it, and you will be able to conveniently remove number ranges with the x symbol, located on the filter field.

In the left panel (4) you will find a text search box and more general filters to specify our criteria. Also, you will find Presets to adjust.

After customizing the appearance of the table (e.g. choosing the displayed columns) and using basic or advanced filters, you can download the current view to an .xls file

List of all the retailer's offers

To view the products offered by a given retailer, click on its name. You will then see the full list of products:

In the table view, you will find information about the monitored products:

Data in points from 1 to 3 was provided by you or collected from your site.

  1. ID
  2. Name of the product
  3. The price recommended by you
  4. Alerts relating to the retailer's price
  5. The percentage difference between your recommended price and the retailer's offer.
  6. Retailer's price
  7. A link to the Retailer's offer
  8. Groups of products, assigned by you, to which offers are assigned
  9. (If any) Retailer's product code
  10. Button to return to the basic view (Retailers list).

Data from 5 to 9 has been collected from specific monitoring sources that you have selected.

Each column contains filters with which we can narrow down the results, analogous to the basic view of the tab.

Note that more filters can be applied to the columns with price differences:

The list of products can furthermore be filtered using the basic filters on the left side of the application panel.

In addition to a text search for the retailer or offer of interest, we can also choose to monitor offers that still have product cards but are no longer available for sale from retailers. We present this data in the app's 30-day view.

Below are options for selecting specific sources and retailers:

After selecting a source and expanding the list (1), we can pick a specific store (2), select or deselect all at once (3) and Apply changes to the view or return to the default filters (4).

At the bottom of the left panel, there is also an option to specify the Alerts you want to monitor with numerical /percentage thresholds and the ability to specify the time frame in which they occurred.

We can reset the settings using a button:

Basically, the chosen filters will be displayed in the same way as in the main tab view.

Similarly, in the left panel in the Detailed view of each retailer's offers, we can select and display the chosen groups.

We can make a selection of one or all groups (1), select them automatically or manually (2), assign a new group from within the application (3), or Apply or reset made amendments (4).

In the left panel you will also find Presets, making it easy to remember filter settings permanently for an individual user. We can remember the view by clicking on the plus icon next to the checkbox.

The preset will be saved in the list and each time we log in, we can immediately select the preset we are interested in.

If we want to delete it, just select the Trash Bin icon.
