Dealavo allows users to automatically assign products to specific pricing rules based on set criteria. This means that you can define specific conditions that products must meet in order for them to be automatically assigned or removed from price rules.
For example, if you set a criterion that a product must have a price of less than PLN 100, Dealavo will automatically assign those products that meet this condition to the rule. This makes the rule creation process more efficient and saves time, as you don't have to manually assign or remove a product to a rule. The system does this automatically based on the criteria you set.
Scenario 1: All products belonging to the Sofa group are to be added to the Sofa price rule.
Step 1: Create a price rule
Step 2: In the Assign Products to Rule view, enable the option to automatically assign new products that meet the criteria
Step 3: In the "Groups" column uncheck all groups and search for the group "Sofa"
Step 4:
(1) search by name for the product group "Sofa"
(2) select the group
(3) apply the changes
Step 5: Assign filters to the rule.
Step 6: Check the rule settings. New rule settings apply to the Sofa group, which now contains 6 products. Save the changes.
Step 7: After saving the changes, all new products belonging to the "Sofa" group will be added to this price rule.
If we would like to exclude a specific product or manually add it to the rule, we can do so in the "Add to rule" column by clicking here:
Products with a padlock, are manually managed products. They will not be added/removed from the rule depending on whether they meet the filters criteria. They can either be manually added or removed from the rule.
