In the integration, we display data for each product in additional columns, both in the Products and Repricing tabs. We show:
number of views
number of units sold
total product sales
ratio of product page views to number of units purchased – equivalent to conversion in Google
Access granting
To enable the Dealavo integration with Google Analytics 4, go to the My account tab.
Go to the Google Analytics section. Click the Grant access button.
We will proceed to the screen for granting Dealavo app access through Google. Select the account with access to Google Analytics data. The access granting view will open.
Click the Allow button. From now on, Dealavo has access to the necessary data.
Configuration
Go to the Google Analytics section in the My Account tab again. Three fields must be filled in.
Property ID
Identifier in the Google Analytics panel where the required data is available. You can find it in the location shown in the example below:
Matching GA4 ID column
The column in the application that contains the product IDs in Google Analytics (Item ID). By default, this is the product ID in Dealavo.
If products in Google Analytics have different ID codes than in Dealavo, please indicate which column in Dealavo contains the correct code. This information is crucial for presenting the data.
You can find the ID values to compare with Dealavo in the Monetisation > E-commerce purchases tab (change the default column “Item Name” to “Item ID”):
Report period (days)
Dealavo displays data aggregated for the specified report range, by default 30 days. If the application should show a different range, this value must be changed to the desired.
Data view
After granting access and completing the configuration described above, Dealavo will start displaying new columns with data in the Products tab after the next product update.
